The Tikkun Olam Women’s Foundation is the only Jewish giving vehicle in the Washington, DC metropolitan area that offers women a voice and a vote in supporting causes that result in lasting change in the lives of women and girls. Members pool their money and, together, decide which nonprofit projects to fund.

Tikkun Olam Women’s Foundation is a grantmaking organization dedicated to creating social change for women and girls. The Foundation, rooted in Jewish values, empowers women to be philanthropists, decision makers, and advocates on behalf of women of all ages.
Activities
Our members, known as trustees, meet four times during the grants cycle (November through May). Each meeting builds upon the previous one as we determine which projects to fund.As a member of Tikkun Olam Women’s Foundation, you will make a difference in the lives of other women and girls. TOWF gives you a way to express your Jewish identity through a Jewish philanthropic response to women’s issues. And, TOWF is a wonderful outlet if you want to be more strategic in your charitable giving.
