FOCUS launched in 1972 to empower women in a changing world. FOCUS’ founding mothers inaugurated a tradition of professionalism and volunteerism that continues to this day. FOCUS plants seeds for girls and women to grow and succeed in life and in their careers. They treat all of their clients with compassion and dignity. Their emphasis is on life skills training, local resources, Microloans, and youth services through Teensight.
